You may or may not have noticed that this page and the blog have been pretty quiet for a few months (or 9), and there wasn’t any kind of announcement or goodbye.
As happens in life, we had a few months full of “hiccups”.
And as hiccups usually do, they just kept coming, now matter how much we wished they would stop.
And during that time, my presence here was much less a priority than in previous months.
Then we finally hit a stretch of time where we noticed “hey! Those hiccups are finally gone!”.
Then I was so excited/nervous about coming back to the page. I wanted to pick right back up and full steam ahead.
But oddly at the same time was unsure and even a bit apprehensive to actually make the leap and start posting.
How would I comeback? Would I just pick up and pretend nothing happened? Would I say something? All in? Or gradual?
Then I had another day full of hiccups recently. A day where I literally wanted to cry, scream, and just throw my hands up and say “I’m taking a nap” all at the same time.
So I decided to have a stress free summer.
And holiday season.
But here we are now! I’m back, and ready to jump right in!
I was actually ready to come back quite a few months ago, but decided it might be better to give myself some time to reevaluate, get through the crazy holiday season, and start fresh with the new year.
And I’m so glad I did!
Our holidays were a bit hectic, ridiculously busy, and enjoyable.
And now I feel refreshed, reenergized, and excited to get back to it.
So all of this is to say, hello again old friend! I’m so happy to see you again.
I’m trying to be nice to myself and get to what really matters to me most.
And I’m trying to take it a little bit easier on myself this time around.
As you will see in my video below, I’ve greatly lowered my expectations for myself, and I feel good about it.
No more holding myself back!
Because doing is better than dreaming, I’m letting myself get messy, and make mistakes, in order to learn and grow from them.
My plans are to post once a week going forward; post, video, or both.
And then grow from there!
So, if you are as excited about being back, and continuing to grow and serve this community as I am, let me know!
