DIY Toddler Coat Rack
I'm just doing a quick post today to show off Evelyn's new toddler coat rack.
This girl knows that when the weather is chilly, she can't go outside without a jacket.
And the girl loves to go outside!
So, I thought it'd be fun to make a cute little coat rack to hang her seasonal jackets and sweaters on.
I'm not going to go into a lot of detail about making it, because, well, it's pretty simple.
Just some wood, stain or paint, hooks, and screws!
I will say though, that I found these beautiful hooks recently at Hobby Lobby.
And that I suggest screwing this into some studs, to prevent them from pulling it down onto themselves.
I put two keyhole hangers on the back to slide over my stud screws.
I also hung this at a height that Evelyn can take the jackets off herself, but it is still high enough that she has time to grow with it!
This girl is loving as much independence as she can get.
And mom is enjoying it too!
I'm curious, if you have littles in your life, what kind of projects have you done to help encourage their self sufficiency?
